Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Louis (ranked 257 p4p, 334 weight class) and Derek Erwin (ranked 41 p4p, 49 weight class). Louis comes into the arena with Flatbush ZOMBiES - Ascension blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leon Louis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derek Erwin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Louis. Erwin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Erwin motions for Louis to come forward. Erwin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Louis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Erwin.
Louis connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Erwin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Louis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Erwin.
Erwin only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Louis instigates a clinch.
Erwin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Louis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Erwin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Erwin is trying to drag Louis to the mat but Louis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Erwin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Louis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Erwin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Louis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Erwin's guard. Nice work there by Louis.
Erwin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Louis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Louis unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Erwin wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Louis celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Leon Louis spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Derek Erwin was interviewed post fight and said 'I didn't lose I just ran out of time'.
