Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Almanza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jihadi John!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almanza tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but John was well out of range. Poor timing from Almanza.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Almanza thuds a left hand into John's body.
Almanza tries to clinch but John moves away
and John counters with a straight right hand.
John throws a jab but it's blocked by Almanza.
Almanza tries to counter by clinching up but John breaks away and moves out of range.
John tries to move into range but Almanza moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Almanza connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John misses the jab.
And Almanza counters with a quick kick to the body but John blocks it.
Almanza throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Almanza throws a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
John throws an overhand right that lands on Almanza's shoulder, as Almanza tries to avoid the shot.
Almanza loads up on a big right hand but John slips the punch.
A little jabbing left from John on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
John misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Almanza.
John scores with a hook to the body. Almanza takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
John lands a nice hook to Almanza's body. Almanza takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Almanza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent John stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Almanza ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking John out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Diego Almanza!
Diego Almanza decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
