Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bong Ji Woo (ranked 3073 p4p, 3982 weight class) and Percival James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Percival James told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Percival James!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji Woo scores with a nice body kick.
James has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ji Woo finds it's way round the side to connect with James's head.
Ji Woo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Percival James has been cut.
Ji Woo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Ji Woo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
James misses with a takedown attempt - Ji Woo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ji Woo lands a nice shot to the body.
Crunch! Ji Woo slams his shin into James's torso.
James looks winded!
Ji Woo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent James stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ji Woo.
James drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ji Woo cracks James with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! James looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ji Woo finish him?
James is rocked!
Ji Woo with a nice calf kick.
James is still on wobbly legs! Can Ji Woo finish him?
Ji Woo lands a right hook to the body.
James seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ji Woo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
James gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Ji Woo gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bong Ji Woo!
