Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shape Shifter (ranked 5768 p4p, 3384 weight class) and Aboubacar Mandiang (ranked 573 p4p, 424 weight class). Aboubacar Mandiang will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aboubacar Mandiang!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shifter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mandiang to the mat! Mandiang manages to get full guard.
Shifter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mandiang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shifter trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mandiang manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Shifter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mandiang defends well.
Shifter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mandiang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Shifter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shifter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mandiang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mandiang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shifter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mandiang is one step ahead there.

Shifter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mandiang stacks Shifter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mandiang!
Shifter is looking for a sweep.
Mandiang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shifter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mandiang content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Shifter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mandiang wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Shifter wants to improve his position but Mandiang is controlling well.
Shifter has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Mandiang. Oh but Shifter has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Mandiang goes limp - he's gone! Shifter jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
