Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Radio Active (ranked 303 p4p, 197 weight class) and Ephram Urani (ranked 38 p4p, 25 weight class). Active kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is For Heavy Metal we will die!. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Active.
Urani misses with a body shot.
Active half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Active throws an overhand right that lands on Urani's shoulder, as Urani tries to avoid the shot.
Urani throws a jab when Active was well out of range.
Active lands with a shot to the body.
Radio Active seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Urani ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Urani throws the left hand but Active avoids the punch easily.
Active feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Uranis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Urani throws a half hearted mid kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Active misses the target.
Active scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Urani paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Active scores with a nice right hand.
Active uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Urani.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Active throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slapping body kick lands there for Urani.
Urani misses with a looping left.
Active swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Urani has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Urani takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Active fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Active scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Urani throws a shot from downtown. Active moves away and avoids it.
Active misses with a shot to the body
and Urani counters with a nice low kick that buckles Active's knee momentarily.
Ephram Urani is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Active keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Urani moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Radio Active has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Urani enables Active to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Urani manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Active keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Urani's head.
