Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Great Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacque Joteel!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger throws a body shot but no joy.
Tiger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joteel's waist but Joteel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tiger off to one side.
Tiger looks to land a body kick but Joteel moved away.
Joteel feints a counter leg kick.
Nice body kick from Tiger.
Tiger digs a good hook to Joteel's body.
Tiger on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Tiger connects with a high kick.

Joteel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tiger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Joteel sprawls well initially but Tiger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tiger wants to pass the guard but Joteel is defending well.

Tiger is stalling here. Joteel is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tiger seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Joteel has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joteel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tiger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Joteel has managed to get both his arms back between Tiger's legs - danger averted.
Tiger controls Joteel momentarily but Joteel frees himself.
Tiger has his foot on Joteel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Joteel works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tiger wants to sweep but no luck.

That was a close round but I would say that Great Tiger will probably get the nod.

Joteel loads up on a big right hand but Tiger slips the punch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joteel leaves Tiger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A little jabbing left from Joteel on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tiger throws a hook to the side of Joteel's head but Joteel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Joteel is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Tiger gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tiger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Joteel was covering up waiting for the punch and Tiger finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tiger drops back looking for a leg! Joteel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joteel manages to kick Tiger off! Tiger jumps back into Joteel's guard.
Tiger pushes down on Joteel's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Tiger is working for a kimura but Joteel is defending it quite comfortably.
Joteel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tiger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joteel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tiger dives in and grabs Joteel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joteel pushes down on Tiger's head and hops out.
Tiger connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Tiger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Joteel manages to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Great Tiger will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Joteel tries to land a front kick but Tiger steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tiger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tiger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Joteel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tiger. Tiger circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Some bone on bone action there as Tiger checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tiger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Joteel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tiger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Tiger closes the distance and pushes Joteel back into the cage.
Joteel tries to throw a body punch but Tiger avoids it by throwing Joteel back against the cage.
Joteel works on Tiger's body with a couple of short punches.

Joteel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tiger pulls guard successfully.

The referee asks Joteel politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Joteel prefers to stall for the moment though.
Tiger is not content to let Joteel control the position.
Joteel is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tiger will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Tiger is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tiger seems a little lost for a moment, as Joteel dominates the positioning.
Tiger manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Joteel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Tiger is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Joteel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Joteel's back!

You can see the frustration on Joteel's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Joteel manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tiger's guard. Nice work there by Joteel.

I would just about give that final round to Jacque Joteel.
