Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khunbish Borjigin (ranked 854 p4p, 534 weight class) and Jesse Kilpatrick (ranked 126 p4p, 87 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Khunbish Borjigin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jesse Kilpatrick!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilpatrick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kilpatrick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Borjigin walks away with a smile on his face. Kilpatrick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Borjigin on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Kilpatrick lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Borjigin down.

Kilpatrick scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Borjigin to see if he's OK.

Kilpatrick scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Borjigin is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Kilpatrick can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
