Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire (ranked 414 p4p, 455 weight class) and Seelow Heights (ranked 71 p4p, 76 weight class). McGuire kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Confederate Railroad - Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind. Heights is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: For Heavy Metal we will die!. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heights tries a head kick but it misses.

McGuire throws out a loose jab but Heights uses good head movement to avoid it.

McGuire has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rivers Edge Gym in the buildup to the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McGuire throws a hook to the side of Heights's head but Heights sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Heights uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGuire has time to react.

Seelow Heights seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heights throws a nice looking combination but McGuire bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McGuire does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
We've been informed that Heights has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and McGuire counters with a huge left! Heights is in big trouble! He's backing up but McGuire isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Heights from any more damage. A dominating finish by McGuire!
