Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranji Katoor (ranked 1073 p4p, 568 weight class) and Sol Kwon (ranked 154 p4p, 92 weight class). Kwon has chosen Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ranji Katoor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sol Kwon! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Katoor ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Katoor looks to clinch and Kwon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Katoor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kwon. Katoor has managed to clinch.
Katoor fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Katoor misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kwon lands with a short shot to the head. Kwon breaks the clinch.
A nice leg kick from Katoor, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kwon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Katoor misses with a hook. Kwon ducked under it nicely. Oooooh!!! Kwon has knocked Katoor down with a huge combo! Kwon steps away and waves a wobbly Katoor back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Katoor is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Katoor throws a lazy uppercut
and Kwon rattles Katoor with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Katoor tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kwon dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Katoor stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sol Kwon! Sol Kwon got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
