Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 2072 p4p, 1285 weight class) and Reima Poika (ranked 216 p4p, 151 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Reima Poika enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rimtas Kentas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Reima Poika!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poika thuds his shin into the meat of Kentas's side.
Poika doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Poika scores with a push kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kentas.
Kentas has his takedown stuffed
and Poika counters with a head kick. That will keep Kentas thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Poika leaves Kentas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rimtas Kentas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

And Poika responds with a good body kick, but Kentas manages to step out the way in time.
Kentas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poika tries to avoid it but Kentas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poika to the ground. Poika escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kentas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kentas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Poika's waist but Poika gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kentas off to one side.
A nice side step and Poika releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Kentas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Poika displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kentas throws out the jab.

Both fighters circling a little - Poika finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Poika takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kentas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Poika manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kentas has Poika in his guard.

Kentas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Poika gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Poika bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kentas's guard.

Kentas looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Poika passes into half guard.

Poika is taking a breather. Kentas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Poika takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kentas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Poika pulls his head out easily.

Poika wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kentas keeps working.

Kentas shoots in and bounces Poika off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kentas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Poika's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Poika's back!

Reima Poika comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Poika has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
