The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hardman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Karelin doesn't seem bothered though.
Hardman lands a lovely overhand right.
A cross from Hardman lands.
Hardman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karelin pinned against the cage. Karelin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Karelin walks into a jab.
Hardman lands a jab to the head.
Hardman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hardman lands a jab to Karelin's midsection.
Hardman has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Karelin shoots in for a takedown but Hardman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Karelin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Good exchange - Hardman coming out on top.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hardman, as that shot connected.
Hardman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Karelin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Karelin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hardman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khabib Karelin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A lazy left from Hardman finds it's target.
Karelin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hardman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hardman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hardman misses the shot to the body.
Karelin throws a body kick that misses.
Mossimo Hardman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hardman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Karelin quickly recovers to half guard.
