Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Che Von Cru (ranked 1175 p4p, 22062 weight class) and Earle Nelson (ranked 163 p4p, 639 weight class). Cru comes into the arena with the stranger blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Che Von Cru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Earle Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson swings for the body but Cru moves out of range.
Cru misses with an uppercut.
Cru scores with a nice right hand.
Good exchange - Cru coming out on top.
Nelson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nelson moves away from the strike by Cru.
A countering left hand to the body from Nelson misses.
Cru thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nelson if he has to take too many more of those.

enabling Cru to counter with a crisp jab.
A swing and a miss from Nelson.

and Nelson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cru lands with a hook. Nelson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cru missing with a left hand there. Nelson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Che Von Cru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cru moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nelson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nelson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Cru looks to land a left hand but Nelson moved out of range nicely.
Nelson lands with a nice body punch.
Cru throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cru keeps Nelson at a distance using the push kick.

Nelson tries to break free but Cru pushes him back against the cage.

Nelson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cru is defending well for now.

Cru keeps control of Nelson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nelson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cru's brow.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cru lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cru dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Jab, jab by Cru - just one landing.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nelson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cru - the referee stops the clock and Nelson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cru. Nelson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cru lands an overhand right.
Cru bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nelson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

letting Cru counter with a right hand.
Cru lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nelson will feel that in the morning.
Nelson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Nelson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cru throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nelson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nelson has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Cru.
Cru fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Cru uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nelson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nelson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Nelson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Cru gets through Nelson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Nelson can't break the clinch.
Cru lands a right hand.
Cru lands a nice shot to the body.
Nelson takes a shot to the head.
Cru lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nelson backwards.

Nelson is rocked!
Nelson is trying to stall.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cru creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Cru finish him?

Cru working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Cru is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nelson can do to turn this around?

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Cru lands a big head kick that sends Nelson tumbling to the mat! Cru takes a step backwards and waves Nelson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Earle Nelson has been cut.

Cru lands a nice uppercut.

Cru throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Cru throws a big uppercut that drops Nelson! More strikes from Cru and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Nelson lies dazed against the cage as Cru celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Che Von Cru!
Che Von Cru seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
