And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Manny TahHinni!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hradek plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Manny TahHinni has been cut.
TahHinni with a poor takedown

and TahHinni is countered with a crisp right hand from Hradek that sends him to the canvas! Hradek follows him to the mat into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
TahHinni manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
TahHinni tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
TahHinni stops Hradek from getting back to his feet.

Hradek is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but TahHinni pulls his head out easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - TahHinni has eaten all the pies!

TahHinni moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Hradek.

TahHinni working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hradek's coaches at Westside Martial Arts have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Hradek is looking to reverse the position.

Hradek regains half guard.
TahHinni tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hradek controls his leg.

Hradek looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hradek is looking to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
TahHinni thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
TahHinni lands strikes from half guard.
Hradek is looking for a sweep. TahHinni is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
TahHinni is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hradek is staying active underneath TahHinni, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

TahHinni is looking for a kimura but Hradek is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for TahHinni to get the leverage.
Hradek is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big head kick from Hradek and TahHinni is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Hradek wants to stand but TahHinni is controlling his posture from full guard.
Our spies down at at Dark Knight Fight House inform us that TahHinni has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
TahHinni tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hradek wanted to stand there but TahHinni had control of the position.
TahHinni wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
