Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Louis C K (ranked 763 p4p, 618 weight class) and Will Rock (ranked 93 p4p, 77 weight class). C K's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Live at Carnegie Hall. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rock's choice of entrance music: I Wanna Rock. Will Rock has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Louis C K's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Louis C K! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 17 - 3, fighting out of New York, Will Rock! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! C K throws a right and a left that both miss. Rock looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. C K looks to land a combination but Rock avoids it well. We've been told by C K's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. C K misses with a wild combination.
C K throws an overhand right that lands on Rock's shoulder, as Rock tries to avoid the shot. Rock lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. C K rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rock moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rock tries a quick counter leg kick but C K is wise to it. Rock needs to keep his hands up - C K had a free shot at his head there. C K throws a right hand that Rock ducks under and follows up with a left that Rock also avoids with ease. Rock feints a counter leg kick. C K lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rock circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. C K misses with a hook. C K throws out a loose jab but Rock uses good head movement to avoid it. C K tests Rock's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jab from C K.
That's one minute gone in the round. C K throws a right and a left that both miss. Rock looks like he wants to counter punch here. Rock walks into a jab. C K swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rock makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. C K rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rock moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rock was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. C K scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Rock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A left and a right from C K both land. Nice combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. C K misses with a two punch combination.
C K throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rock moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. C K lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. C K misses with the combination.

and Rock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. C K swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. C K loads up on a big right hand but Rock slips the punch. C K lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Rock flicks out a counter leg kick but C K steps away. C K is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. C K throws a combination that misses and Rock counters with a huge left! C K is in big trouble! He's backing up but Rock isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save C K from any more damage. A dominating finish by Rock!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Rock! Will Rock was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
