Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Massive Wanker (ranked 37 p4p, 101 weight class) and Dre Battle (ranked 3 p4p, 1 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Battle's choice of entrance music: HEART ON ICE. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wanker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Battle misses with a hook.
Wanker throws a hook to the side of Battle's head but Battle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Battle follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Wanker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Battle wants to slow Wanker down by chopping away at his legs.
Wanker moves out of range of the body kick.

Battle gets tackled into the cage by Wanker. Wanker maintains the clinch.

Battle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Battle turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wanker throws a lazy right hand but Battle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Wanker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wanker throws a hook but Battle avoids it easily.
And Battle responds with a good body kick, but Wanker manages to step out the way in time.

Battle tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wanker's elbow.

Wanker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Battle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Battle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wanker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Battle has managed to get both his arms back between Wanker's legs - danger averted.
Battle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Wanker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Battle defends it easily.

Wanker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Battle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wanker isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Battle stacks Wanker on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Battle!
Battle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wanker keeps working.
Wanker is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Battle is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Wanker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

It looks like Dre Battle has been cut.
Wanker wants to pass the guard but Battle is keeping the position.
Battle keeping moving, preventing Wanker from controlling successfully.
Wanker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Battle is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Wanker drops back looking for a leg! Battle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Battle manages to kick Wanker off! Wanker jumps back into Battle's guard.
Wanker prevents Battle from getting back to his feet.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
