Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jack Sullivan (ranked 5653 p4p, 4759 weight class) and Jihadi John (ranked 578 p4p, 454 weight class). John has chosen Ali-A as his entrance music. Jack Sullivan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Sullivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jihadi John ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and John counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. John misses with a left hand and Sullivan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. John slips a jab from Sullivan. Sullivan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sullivan misses the jab. John ducks under a wild hook from Sullivan. Nice defenses there by John . Sullivan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. John has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. John uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sullivan. Nice body kick from John . John misses with a combination
and Sullivan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sullivan throws a leg kick but John sees it coming and checks it nicely. A head kick misses from John . An attempted straight right counter from Sullivan misses the target. John jabbing away but nothing is landing. The fight stays on the outside here - Sullivan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. This has been an exciting period of action! Sullivan staying out of range there. Sullivan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Sullivan circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan moves away from the strike by John . Sullivan is looking to counter with a shot to the body. John looks to land a left hand but Sullivan moved out of range nicely. John avoids the body shot from Sullivan.
Sullivan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sullivan scores a knockdown with a big right hand! John beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
It looks like Jihadi John has been cut. Sullivan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Jihadi John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. John misses with a kick to the body.
John misses with a straight right. John tries to close the distance and clinch but Sullivan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sullivan avoids a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! John walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jack Sullivan! An out of breath Jack Sullivan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Jihadi John was interviewed post fight and said ' Al Akhbar '.
