Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Austin (ranked 2882 p4p, 3626 weight class) and Levan Revazshvili (ranked 114 p4p, 134 weight class). Austin's entrance music is NCT 127 - Punch. A fine choice. Revazshvili comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Georgia National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shane Austin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Austin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 26 - 3, fighting out of New York, Levan Revazshvili! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Revazshvili misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Austin.
Austin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Revazshvili takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Austin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Revazshvili decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Revazshvili missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Austin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Revazshvili looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Austin is refusing to be controlled, as Revazshvili sits in half guard. Revazshvili thows a huge punch but Austin dodges it nicely.
Revazshvili throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Austin's head. Revazshvili takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Revazshvili is nestled in close to Austin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Revazshvili with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Austin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Revazshvili seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Austin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Revazshvili is looking to advance position but Austin won't allow it. Revazshvili sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Austin defending well though. Revazshvili seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Revazshvili missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Revazshvili uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Austin has time to react. Austin connects with a crisp jab. A jab from Austin misses. Revazshvili bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Austin's head backwards. Donk. Revazshvili catches Austin right on the button with a cross.

letting Revazshvili counter with a right hand.

Revazshvili should have avoided that one. Revazshvili lunges at Austin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Austin's hand. Austin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Revazshvili is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Austin. Revazshvili swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Revazshvili throws a nice looking combination but Austin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Austin takes one to the side of the head.
Austin thows a left - swing and a miss! Revazshvili lands a body shot.
Shane Austin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Revazshvili drops Austin with a beautiful combination! Austin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Revazshvili is looking for the KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Levan Revazshvili! Levan Revazshvili bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
