And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barao loads up on a big right hand but Zwirn slips the punch.
Zwirn throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Zwirn has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Barao lands the left hand.
Zwirn misses the jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zwirn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barao moves out of range of the strikes.
Barao goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Barao moves out of range as Zwirn strikes.
Zwirn throws a hook but Barao blocks it.
Barao tries to move into range but Zwirn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Pascal Barao has been cut.

A looping hook to the body misses from Barao. Zwirn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Barao gets tackled into the cage by Zwirn. Zwirn maintains the clinch.

Zwirn looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Zwirn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Barao's hands.
Zwirn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barao paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barao has his takedown stuffed
and Zwirn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barao throws a head kick but Zwirn moves out of range.
Barao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barao attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Zwirn takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Barao swats away the attempt to clinch by Zwirn.

Clinched against the cage, Zwirn lands a big elbow that drops Barao! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Barao is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
