The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone throws a shot from downtown. Garcia moves away and avoids it.
As Corleone backs off Garcia throws a huge counter combo but Corleone manages to avoid it all.
Garcia jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Corleone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garcia, pushing him back against the cage.
Garcia fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Garcia lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Garcia lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Corleone drops down looking for an ankle pick but Garcia pulls his leg out and moves away.
Corleone darts in looking for a takedown but Garcia gets double underhooks and turns Corleone into the cage.
Garcia looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Garcia can't break the clinch.
Garcia managing to block the knees to the body from Corleone.
Garcia tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Corleone goes for a takedown in the clinch but Garcia prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vito Corleone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia misses with a short punch on the inside.
A right handed body shot lands from Garcia.
Corleone tries to land a knee to the head but Garcia blocks with his arms.
Garcia throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Corleones head.

Garcia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Garcia has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

It looks like Vito Corleone has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Corleone. Garcia does a little dance to reset his feet.

Garcia throws a hook but Corleone avoids it easily.

Garcia throws a hook to the side of Corleone's head but Corleone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Corleone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Garcia lands with a good body shot.
Corleone takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Corleone tries for a takedown but Garcia circles away easily
letting Garcia counter with a right hand.
Corleone is looking to clinch.
Corleone misses with a left hand
and Corleone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Corleone is rocked!

Corleone is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Garcia doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Corleone crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Corleone's bad books for that mishap!
