Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerome Winn!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rishkinov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Winn was well out of range. Poor timing from Rishkinov.
A slow jab from Winn misses its intended target.
Rishkinov darts in looking for a takedown but Winn gets double underhooks and turns Rishkinov into the cage.

Rishkinov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Winn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rishkinov to the mat. Rishkinov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Serhey Rishkinov will probably get the nod.

Rishkinov is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Winn gets his way!

Winn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rishkinov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Winn has managed to get both his arms back between Rishkinov's legs - danger averted.

Winn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rishkinov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Winn is looking to defend but Rishkinov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Winn! Rishkinov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Winn taps out and this one is all over!
