Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Babinski (ranked 144 p4p, 174 weight class) and Kevin McGuire (ranked 25 p4p, 30 weight class). Babinski comes to the cage accompanied by Raining Blood - Slayer. McGuire has chosen Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Babinski.
Babinski scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Kevin McGuire has been cut.
Babinski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGuire.
Nice uppercut there from Babinski.
Babinski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Alexei Babinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Babinski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Babinski throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
McGuire throws a wild body kick that Babinski sees coming a mile off.
Babinski goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McGuire fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Babinski is out of range.
Babinski thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McGuire if he has to take too many more of those.
McGuire looks winded!
Babinski swings for the body but McGuire moves out of range.
Babinski lands with a good body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire drops his hands momentarily. Babinski doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. McGuire staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. McGuire doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alexei Babinski!
Alexei Babinski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
