Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Paris (ranked 835 p4p, 2780 weight class) and Johnny Somebody (ranked 115 p4p, 363 weight class). Somebody comes into a darkened arena with his song building. America, Fuck Yeah! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Marco Paris could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Somebody's chin.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris throws a jab when Somebody was well out of range.
And Somebody responds with a good body kick, but Paris manages to step out the way in time.
Somebody throws a hook to the side of Paris's head but Paris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Somebody throws a lazy right hand but Paris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Somebody connects with a crisp jab.
Somebody avoids a punch combination nicely.
Paris misses with a hook
and Somebody counters with a straight right hand.
Somebody swings for the body but Paris moves out of range.
Paris checks a leg kick nicely.
It looked like Paris was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Somebody.
Somebody pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Somebody swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Somebody drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Paris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Paris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Somebody keeps working.

Paris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Somebody manages to get himself to full guard.

Paris creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Somebody sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Paris is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Somebody's shoulder. That is not cool.

Paris sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Somebody's guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Paris connects with a nice short shot to Somebody's temple.
