Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Alvarez (ranked 601 p4p, 2085 weight class) and Elay Arson (ranked 73 p4p, 236 weight class). Arson has chosen ALIEN WEAPONRY - Kai Tangata as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arson tries to clinch but Alvarez moves away
and Alvarez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

As Arson looks to move away, Alvarez throws a big counter combo but Arson just gets out of the way.

I was talking to Alvarez's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Alvarez is working for a rear naked choke. Arson is not defending it well and Alvarez has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Arson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Arson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
