Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khan Dharma (ranked 6394 p4p, 2866 weight class) and Hyatt Wayne (ranked 584 p4p, 310 weight class). Wayne comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SOAD - Aerials kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Khan Dharma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hyatt Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dharma walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dharma walks into a stiff left hand from Wayne.

Dharma scores with a takedown into Wayne's guard.
Wayne is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Wayne keeping moving, preventing Dharma from controlling successfully.
Dharma wants to pass the guard but Wayne is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wayne looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dharma puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wayne can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wayne tries to roll over but Dharma keeps him under control.

Dharma is working for a kimura but Wayne is defending it quite comfortably.
We've been hearing that Dharma has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Dharma is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wayne defends it well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dharma slips a nice elbow through Wayne's hands, connecting with Wayne's forehead.

Dharma seems to be working for a kimura but Wayne defends the submission attempt.

Dharma wants to work for an arm triangle but Wayne is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wayne felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Dharma wants to pass to mount but Wayne is defending the position.
Wayne avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dharma.

Wayne is controlling Dharma's trapped leg to prevent Dharma from advancing to side control.

Dharma working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Wayne prevents Dharma from moving into mount.

Wayne is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dharma is working for a kimura but Wayne is defending it quite comfortably.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dharma not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wayne regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dharma.
Wayne avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dharma wants to pass the guard but Wayne is keeping the position.
Wayne tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dharma is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wayne is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wayne has escaped and now he's on top!

Wayne wants to get up but he can't break Dharma's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Khan Dharma dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wayne lands with a nice body punch.
Wayne lands a slapping body shot.
Wayne lands an overhand right.

It looks like Khan Dharma has been cut.
Wayne closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Dharma out cold! Dharma corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hyatt Wayne!
