Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack McScramble (ranked 1328 p4p, 419 weight class) and Darsin Bleak (ranked 160 p4p, 50 weight class). Jack McScramble has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack McScramble! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darsin Bleak! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bleak dodges the punch combination from McScramble.
Bleak closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. McScramble taking a bit of punishment here - Bleak scoring with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McScramble is not in a great position here, taking some shots. We've been hearing good reports from McScramble's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Bleak wants to lay and pray for a moment but McScramble keeps working. Bleak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McScramble looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McScramble is refusing to be controlled, as Bleak sits in half guard. McScramble is trying to get back to full guard. Bleak is looking to take a break and control but McScramble is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. Bleak throws a big elbow that misses. Bleak trying to control but McScramble is working from the bottom. McScramble might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bleak chips away with some ground and pound. McScramble looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bleak has picked McScramble up and slammed him! McScramble can't keep hold of the triangle and Bleak manages to pass to side control! McScramble really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Bleak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McScramble knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bleak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McScramble manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McScramble lands a nice short elbow.

Bleak is looking for a sweep. McScramble is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bleak moves into full guard.
McScramble won't allow Bleak to sweep him here. Bleak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McScramble doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McScramble manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bleak keeping moving, preventing McScramble from controlling successfully. McScramble trying to move into half guard but instead Bleak has managed to sweep!
That's four minutes gone in the round. McScramble tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bleak is looking to work some ground and pound but McScramble has wrist control. McScramble looking for a sweep. Not yet McScramble, not yet. Bleak postures up and lands a big shot to McScramble's brow. McScramble not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bleak pushes down on McScramble's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bleak is looking for a kimura but McScramble is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bleak to get the leverage. McScramble is looking to improve his position.
Bleak thows a huge punch but McScramble dodges it nicely.

Darsin Bleak dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! McScramble throws a jab when Bleak was well out of range. Bleak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McScramble tries to avoid it but Bleak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McScramble to the ground. McScramble escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bleak has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McScramble tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bleak defends well and McScramble ends up having to push Bleak into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bleak tries to throw a body punch but McScramble avoids it by throwing Bleak back against the cage. Bleak lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bleak sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McScramble defending well though. McScramble is in trouble now - Bleak has advanced to mount! McScramble is in a horrible position here. Bleak smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
McScramble taking shots to the head. Bleak prevents McScramble from getting the reversal. Bleak scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McScramble takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bleak is in the full mount, landing strikes. McScramble is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleak has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McScramble's face.
McScramble is bucking up trying to escape but Bleak cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
McScramble is rocked! Bleak is in the full mount, landing strikes. Oh McScramble is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bleak lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darsin Bleak! Darsin Bleak is the new lightweight champion! After the fight, Darsin Bleak was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
