Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Quin (ranked 637 p4p, 263 weight class) and Marcelo Costa De Andrade (ranked 79 p4p, 32 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Quin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcelo Costa De Andrade! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Andrade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Quin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and De Andrade holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Quin. De Andrade blocks an uppercut.
De Andrade pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. De Andrade throws the left hand but Quin avoids the punch easily. Nice uppercut there from De Andrade. Quin throws a poor cross that misses
and De Andrade counters by clinching up. I was talking to Quin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A body shot lands from De Andrade.
Quin tries to break the clinch but De Andrade is controlling the position. De Andrade misses with a body punch.
De Andrade scores with a shot to the side of Quin's head. Quin misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A short uppercut from De Andrade. Still in the clinch, De Andrade scores with a nice short uppercut. De Andrade throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. This has been an exciting period of action! De Andrade lands a left hand that snaps the head of Quin backwards. De Andrade pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Quin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Andrade.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left lands for De Andrade. De Andrade lands a big head kick that sends Quin tumbling to the mat! De Andrade takes a step backwards and waves Quin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Quin is rocked!
It looks like James Quin has been cut. Quin throws an overhand right that lands on De Andrade's shoulder, as De Andrade tries to avoid the shot. Oh Quin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! De Andrade jabs Quin right on the nose. Quin blinks but takes it well. De Andrade drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Quin right on the button. Quin goes down! De Andrade follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! De Andrade gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcelo Costa De Andrade! Marcelo Costa De Andrade decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
