Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy King (ranked 707 p4p, 738 weight class) and Anton Gardner (ranked 89 p4p, 94 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anton Gardner!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner fails in his attempt to clinch.
King tries to counter with a takedown but Gardner is quick to defend against it.
King changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
King throws a body shot but no joy.
Some wild striking there from Gardner.
Gardner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by King.

King tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gardner defends well and King ends up having to push Gardner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

King has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gardner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Gardner lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt King or not.
Gardner digs a right hand underneath King's ribcage. King let out a lung full of air as it connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gardner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Gardner is pressed up against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gardner down to the mat. Gardner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

King is breathing heavily.
King misses with a hook. Gardner ducked under it nicely.
Donk. Gardner catches King right on the button with a cross.
King throws out a powerful jab.
Gardner lands a big right hand that sends King crashing to the mat! Gardner stays standing though and waves King back to his feet!
King is rocked!

Gardner cracks King with a left hook right on the temple and King goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Gardner lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully King is OK!
