Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bronco (ranked 929 p4p, 761 weight class) and Giuseppe Turturro (ranked 134 p4p, 112 weight class). Bronco comes into the arena with The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Bronco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Giuseppe Turturro! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronco scores with a jab to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Turturro. Bronco does a little dance to reset his feet. Turturro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bronco. Turturro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bronco. Turturro tries to clinch up. Bronco swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Bronco misses with a looping left. Bronco has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Paris & Sons Training Yard in the buildup to the fight. Nice defenses there by Turturro. Bronco throws a big shot that misses. Turturro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bronco throws a jab when Turturro was well out of range. Turturro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bronco was well out of range. Poor timing from Turturro. Turturro lands a right hook to the body.
Turturro on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Turturro lands a glancing blow to the side of Bronco's head. Turturro ducks under a wild hook from Bronco. Turturro tries to clinch but Bronco moves out of range. Bronco connects with a body shot that sends Turturro's belly button to the back. This has been an exciting period of action! Turturro looks to score with a jab to the body but Bronco is just out of range. A left lands for Bronco. Bronco misses with a body shot.
Jab, jab by Turturro - just one landing. Bronco bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Turturro's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turturro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A little jabbing left from Turturro on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Turturro scores with a decent looking hook. Bronco displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turturro throws out the jab. Bronco throws a looping overhand right but Turturro ducks down to avoid it. Turturro connects with the punch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turturro has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bronco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bronco looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Turturro wants to improve his position but Bronco is controlling well.
Turturro is looking to get back to full guard here but Bronco has managed to pass to side control instead. Bronco is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Turturro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turturro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bronco wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bronco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bronco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bronco moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Turturro manages to get back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are battling for position here. Turturro manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Turturro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bronco wants to control from the top but Turturro keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronco is in close to Turturro's body, working some short punches and elbows. Turturro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Turturro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bronco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Turturro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bronco, into his guard. Turturro is looking to pass into half guard but Bronco pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bronco is in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronco trying to mount his opponent but Turturro defends it. Turturro is trying to control but Bronco manages to pass to mount!
Turturro is squirming around, avoiding Bronco's attempts to control the action. Turturro sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Bronco missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bronco prevents Turturro from improving his position. Turturro regains full guard. Nicely done. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Bronco dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Bronco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turturro. Bronco tries to counter with a takedown but Turturro is quick to defend against it. Good shot there by Turturro. Bronco tries to move into range but Turturro moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A decent looking cross lands there for Bronco. Turturro instigates a clinch. Turturro tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Bronco blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bronco has picked Turturro up - he's going for a ride! Bronco dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Turturro is staying active underneath Bronco, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Turturro tries to roll over but Bronco keeps him under control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bronco trying to pass the guard but Turturro defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turturro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Turturro has his hands on Bronco's head, controlling the position. Turturro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Turturro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bronco controls the pace. Turturro has an active guard here but Bronco has managed to pass into half guard.
Bronco is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Turturro gets full guard. Bronco trying to control the position from guard on top but Turturro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnny Bronco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Turturro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bronco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Turturro is looking for a triangle here but Bronco uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Turturro is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turturro can't do much from the bottom here. Turturro tries to bench press Bronco off him but Bronco keeps the position. Bronco cracks Turturro with an elbow. That is naaassty. Turturro gets back to half guard. Turturro gets back to full guard.
Bronco tries to free his leg and advance position but Turturro is retaining full guard. Bronco trying to control the position from guard on top but Turturro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronco is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Turturro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Bronco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bronco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bronco is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Turturro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bronco manages to get himself to full guard.

Turturro paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Bronco - great work!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Johnny Bronco! A relieved looking Johnny Bronco thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
