Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Butch Thighpunch (ranked 621 p4p, 1943 weight class) and Skjoldr Leifsson (ranked 95 p4p, 273 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Butch Thighpunch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Skjoldr Leifsson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leifsson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Thighpunch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thighpunch closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Leifsson moves into the clinch successfully.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Leifsson.
Leifsson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Leifsson lands an uppercut.
Leifsson pulls guard effortlessly.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Leifsson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Leifsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thighpunch defends well.
Leifsson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Thighpunch should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Leifsson has tightened it up now! Thighpunch should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Skjoldr Leifsson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
