Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Fusi!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fusi looks to land a combination but McGuire avoids it well.
Fusi blocks a leg kick.
Fusi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fusi throws a sloppy head kick
and McGuire counters with a nice leg kick.
McGuire takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Kevin McGuire has been cut.

Fusi sends McGuire crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fusi is motioning to the referee to let McGuire up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGuire works the jab nicely.
Fusi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McGuire.
McGuire fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like James Fusi has been cut.
McGuire scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fusi throws a series of punches but McGuire avoids them all with ease.
McGuire chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGuire is defended easily by Fusi.
As McGuire backs off Fusi throws a huge counter combo but McGuire manages to avoid it all.

McGuire fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
McGuire throws a nice outside leg kick.
A head kick from McGuire lands but Fusi takes it in his stride.
McGuire connects with a leg kick.
McGuire throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Fusi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
James Fusi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and McGuire counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fusi slips a jab and a cross from McGuire.
McGuire explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

McGuire feints and as Fusi raises his hands in defense, McGuire changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fusi pushes McGuire off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fusi walks straight into a right hand from McGuire - that's dropped him! McGuire jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Fusi from any more punishment! Fusi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
