Womba has chosen Damian Marley - Road to Zion ft. Nas as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dubaku Womba!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Womba fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Beach wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Womba slips under a jab.
Womba ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Beach throws a right hand that misses

and Womba counters with a takedown into side control.
Beach controls the position for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Womba tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Womba thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Womba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Beach has escaped the position, nice work there.

Womba is looking to take a break and control but Beach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Womba is staying tight to Beach's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Womba with the ground and pound but Beach regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Womba thows a huge punch but Beach dodges it nicely.
Womba works his foot free and advances to mount.

Womba is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Beach has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Beach knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Womba on the ground.
Womba wants to control the pace but Beach is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Womba is trying to work for a kimura but Beach is defending well.

Womba is working for an americana but Beach has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Womba was thinking about the submission.

Dubaku Womba spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
