Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arnfinn Nesset (ranked 450 p4p, 415 weight class) and Tommy Gavin (ranked 58 p4p, 53 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Nesset was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gavin drops Nesset with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nesset looks back up at him and smiles so Gavin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nesset loads up on a big right hand but Gavin slips the punch.
Gavin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Gavin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nesset.
Gavin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Nesset connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gavin. Gavin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The fighters circle momentarily. Nesset darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Gavin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gavin lands a left and a right that send Nesset crashing to the mat, dazed. Gavin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nesset rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gavin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gavin cracks Nesset with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
