Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrano Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Sparxx!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jackson attempts a counter takedown but Sparxx avoids it well and moves away.
Sparxx ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sparxx looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range.
Sparxx displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
A countering left hand to the body from Sparxx misses.
Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sparxx throws out a counter right but Jackson avoids it with no problem.

and Sparxx takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Sparxx is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Sparxx holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.

Jackson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Jackson wants the takedown. Sparxx is fighting it off but Jackson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sparxx's guard against the cage.
Sparxx is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Jackson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Sparxx tries to break free but Jackson pushes him back against the cage.

Jackson is trying to pull guard but Sparxx turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sparxx keeps working.

Sparxx is trying to stand back up but Jackson is controlling him
Jackson winds up and cracks Sparxx with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sparxx is looking to escape.
Jackson is trying to control. Sparxx wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jackson tries to pass to full mount but Sparxx defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Sparxx's temple.

Jackson is trying to control the action in half guard but Sparxx is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Sparxx fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Sparxx looks to score with a jab to the body but Jackson is just out of range.
Sparxx jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jackson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Donk. Jackson catches Sparxx right on the button with a cross.
Jackson moves away from the strike by Sparxx.

Sparxx swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tyrano Jackson will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Sparxx throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Sparxx counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
