Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Irish (ranked 3217 p4p, 2388 weight class) and Cormac Mac Airt (ranked 363 p4p, 283 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Billy Irish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Cormac Mac Airt! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irish throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mac Airt avoids the body shot from Irish.
Mac Airt feints a counter leg kick. Irish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mac Airt was well out of range. Poor timing from Irish. A countering left hand to the body from Mac Airt misses. Mac Airt throws a leg kick and Irish counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Irish. Mac Airt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Irish is aware though and is defending well. Irish postures up in Mac Airt's guard and throws a big left but Mac Airt blocks it. Mac Airt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Irish trying to control the position from guard on top but Mac Airt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Irish is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Barn that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Irish throws a sloppy strike and Mac Airt has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Irish is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Mac Airt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Cormac Mac Airt! A relieved looking Cormac Mac Airt thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
