Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Kyle Kovingten (ranked 23272 p4p, 3241 weight class) and John Bennett (ranked 777 p4p, 459 weight class). Kovingten kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tool - Schism. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Kovingten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Bennett!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovingten is looking to clinch but Bennett is avoiding it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bennett! But no joy.
Kovingten throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Kovingten slips under a jab from Bennett.
Bennett steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kovingten. That one must have hurt.
Bennett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kovingten.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kovingten here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
