Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ned Kelly (ranked 532 p4p, 1052 weight class) and Bill Brown (ranked 77 p4p, 153 weight class). Kelly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I'm a Criminal. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ned Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Brown!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.
Brown unleashes a big counter combination but Kelly bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Brown tries to keep at a distance but Kelly has taken the fight into the clinch.
Brown manages to break the clinch.
Kelly cracks Brown with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kelly smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kelly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Far-Q Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.

and Brown counters with a head kick. That will keep Kelly thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kelly's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brown under the eye.

As Kelly backs off Brown throws a huge counter combo but Kelly manages to avoid it all.

Kelly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away.

and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kelly throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.

Brown throws out a counter right but Kelly avoids it with no problem.
Kelly rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brown makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kelly throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brown on the side of the head.
Kelly throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kelly has closed the distance and engaged Brown in a clinch.
Brown blocks an elbow strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown is looking to break free of the clinch but Kelly has double underhooks.

It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kelly throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Brown stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kelly.

Kelly throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brown raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Kelly is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
Ned Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brown! But no joy.
Kelly is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Brown doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brown throws out a counter right but Kelly avoids it with no problem.
Brown jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Kelly slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown walks into a stiff left hand from Kelly.
Kelly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Kelly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kelly.
Brown throws out a counter right but Kelly avoids it with no problem.
Kelly closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brown circles away.
