Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister McNasty (ranked 62 p4p, 86 weight class) and Mark Kerr (ranked 10 p4p, 17 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Mister McNasty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping body kick lands there for McNasty. Kerr has McNasty up against the cage in a clinch.
Kerr is working for takedown but McNasty is calmly controlling the position for now. McNasty tries a body shot but Kerr blocks it.
McNasty lands with a short shot to the head. Kerr blocks an uppercut.
Kerr tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McNasty's elbow. Kerr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kerr. McNasty softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. I was talking to McNasty's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. McNasty lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kerr backwards. McNasty gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Kerr takes a shot to the head. Kerr misses with some punches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kerr. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kerr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. McNasty creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kerr's defenses.
It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut. Kerr misses with some punches.
Kerr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kerr tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McNasty. Kerr blocks a body shot from McNasty.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McNasty. Kerr has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. McNasty seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kerr can turn it around. McNasty lands a nice elbow. Kerr looks winded! Kerr tries to land a knee to the head but McNasty blocks with his arms.

McNasty gets through Kerr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kerr tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A right handed body shot lands from McNasty.
McNasty lands a nice elbow from the clinch. McNasty lands a body punch. McNasty lands a nice uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McNasty. Nice elbow from McNasty. McNasty presses Kerr against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. McNasty scores with a shot to the side of Kerr's head. Nice elbow from McNasty.

That has opened up Mark Kerr's cut even more. McNasty misses with a punch on the inside.
Kerr is still on wobbly legs! Can McNasty finish him? McNasty lands a body punch in the clinch. Kerr seems to have recovered his senses. McNasty tries a body shot but Kerr blocks it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kerr. A short body shot lands from McNasty as the two fighters clinch.
McNasty lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kerr or not. McNasty lands a shot to the body. McNasty lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kerr backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kerr. McNasty throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kerrs head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McNasty creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kerr with a big uppercut! Kerr tries to clinch up but McNasty pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Kerr to the mat! Kerr covers up and McNasty unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mister McNasty! Mister McNasty took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
