Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rhymin Slayin (ranked 192 p4p, 61 weight class) and Badr Al Din (ranked 40 p4p, 11 weight class). Al Din comes into a darkened arena with his song building. RUNNING BACK kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rhymin Slayin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Badr Al Din!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Al Din eats them both and turns towards Slayin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Badr Al Din has been cut.
Al Din wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Slayin throws a big shot that misses.
A nice side step and Al Din releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good leg kick by Al Din.

Sloppy strikes from Al Din. Those never looked like landing.
Slayin connects with a jab.
Al Din cracks Slayin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Al Din fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slayin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Al Din throws a hook but Slayin avoids it easily.
Al Din walks into a straight right hand from Slayin.
Al Din takes one to the chin there.
Slayin throws a looping overhand right but Al Din ducks down to avoid it.

and Al Din makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Slayin really felt that one!

It looks like Rhymin Slayin has been cut.
Al Din swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Slayin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A little feinted left hand from Slayin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Slayin jabs Al Din right on the nose. Al Din blinks but takes it well.

Al Din wants to get back to striking at distance but Slayin won't allow it.
Slayin tries to land knees in the clinch but Al Din avoids the damage to the body.
Al Din blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Slayin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Al Din's elbow.
Slayin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Al Din digs a right hand underneath Slayin's ribcage. Slayin let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Slayin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Al Din is defending well for now.

Al Din's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Slayin throws a lazy right hand but Al Din sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Slayin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Al Din.

Al Din explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Slayin is breathing heavily.
Slayin throws a hook but Al Din blocks it.
Good shot there by Al Din.
Al Din lands with a nice body punch.
Al Din pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Al Din changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Al Din lands a big uppercut and Slayin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Slayin looks OK. Al Din waves Slayin back to his feet!
Al Din keeps Slayin at a distance using the push kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Badr Al Din dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Al Din is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Slayin flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Slayin is out cold! Al Din holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Badr Al Din!
