Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, North Connolly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kjetil Olsen!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connolly throws a combination that misses
and Olsen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like North Connolly has been cut.
Connolly throws a left and a right that both miss
and Olsen counters with a leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Olsen. That's going to slow Connolly down.
Connolly swings away with a body shot that misses
and Connolly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Olsen cracks Connolly with a right hand to the side of the head.
Connolly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Olsen pinned against the cage. Olsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Despite the aggression on Olsen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Connolly throws a head kick that misses
and Olsen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Olsen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Olsen lands with a straight right. Connolly didn't see that one coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Connolly throws a body kick that misses
and Olsen counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Connolly! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kjetil Olsen!
During a confident post fight interview, Kjetil Olsen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
