Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Maluga (ranked 1 p4p, 15 weight class) and Gary Sparxx (ranked 1 p4p, 4 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maluga might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to JUNGLE. Gary Sparxx acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kilo Maluga!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Sparxx!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluga throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Sparxx counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Maluga takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Kilo Maluga has been cut.
Sparxx swats away the attempt to clinch by Maluga.
Sparxx is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sparxx motions for Maluga to come forward. Sparxx throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Maluga has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sparxx.
Maluga looks to throw the jab but Sparxx is out of range.
Sparxx lands a nice leg kick that just misses Maluga's sensitive parts.
Sparxx throws a lazy uppercut
and Maluga counters with a body kick.
Sparxx cracks Maluga with a right hand to the side of the head.
Maluga moves out of range of the body kick.
Maluga is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sparxx.
Maluga thuds a left hand into Sparxx's body.
Maluga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sparxx.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sparxx throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sparxx smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Maluga misses the jab.
Sparxx misses with an uppercut. Maluga saw that one coming.
An attempted straight right counter from Maluga misses the target.
Sparxx fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Maluga misses with a body shot.
Sparxx misses the shot to the body.
Maluga takes one to the side of the head.
Maluga feints and then cracks Sparxx's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sparxx down.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Maluga.
Maluga uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sparxx.
Maluga has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Convicted Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Maluga dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sparxx. That did some damage!
Sparxx throws the left hand but Maluga avoids the punch easily.
Maluga tries to clinch there but Sparxx circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sparxx connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Maluga thinks about countering with a body kick.
Sparxx swings for the body but Maluga moves out of range.
Maluga appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Maluga throws a push kick but Sparxx slaps the foot to one side.
Sparxx is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maluga.
Sparxx lands a leg kick that knocks Maluga off balance momentarily.
Maluga keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Maluga gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sparxx.
Maluga tries to clinch up but Sparxx circles away and keeps his distance.
Sparxx moves out of range as Maluga throws a body kick.
Maluga avoids the head kick by Sparxx.
Sparxx thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sparxx punishes Maluga's body with a nice straight punch.
Maluga moves forwards but Sparxx connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Sparxx lands with a hook. Maluga tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Maluga ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sparxx throws a left and a right that both miss
and Maluga counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sparxx, as that shot connected.
Maluga checks a leg kick.
Maluga tries to close the distance and clinch but Sparxx swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sparxx throws a nice looking combination but Maluga bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A low kick from Sparxx misses
and Maluga counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Gary Sparxx has been cut.
Sparxx sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Gary Sparxx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sparxx looks winded!
Maluga gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Maluga working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Maluga scores with an uppercut up the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maluga doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Maluga makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sparxx blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Maluga working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Maluga crunches a lovely knee into Sparxx's ribcage.
Maluga fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maluga utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Maluga lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Maluga lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Maluga lands with a short shot to the head.
Maluga goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Maluga scores with a shot to the side of Sparxx's head.
Sparxx's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sparxx rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maluga moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sparxx is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Maluga had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maluga uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sparxx.
Maluga fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Maluga lands a big right hand that sends Sparxx crashing to the mat! Maluga stays standing though and waves Sparxx back to his feet!
Sparxx is rocked!
Sparxx glances at the clock... BAM! Maluga nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Sparxx crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Sparxx is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kilo Maluga!
Kilo Maluga retains his heavyweight title!
Kilo Maluga thanked the fans post fight for their support.
Gary Sparxx spoke after the fight, saying 'Give me a couple hours, and I will meet you all at the dance floor!'.
