Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Reverend Jim Ignatowski (ranked 260 p4p, 165 weight class) and Kieran McArthur (ranked 31 p4p, 18 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Reverend Jim Ignatowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran McArthur! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ignatowski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ignatowski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ignatowski tries to throw a body punch but McArthur avoids it by throwing Ignatowski back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ignatowski takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A nice right hand lands inside from Ignatowski. Ignatowski swings away with an uppercut that misses.
McArthur lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ignatowski trying to stall but McArthur improves his position.
Ignatowski is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McArthur to keep the fight standing. McArthur lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ignatowski backwards. Ignatowski is looking to control McArthur's arms but McArthur gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ignatowski has his back to the cage. McArthur misses with a punch on the inside.
Ignatowski prevents a body shot from McArthur. Ignatowski throws a punch but it's blocked by McArthur. McArthur's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McArthur has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McArthur takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. McArthur pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ignatowski seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A slapping leg kick lands for McArthur.
McArthur throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jab by McArthur. Ignatowski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McArthur lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ignatowski is looking to score with low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ignatowski tries to clinch but McArthur is having none of it. McArthur throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. McArthur finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ignatowski is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McArthur has his hands clasped together but Ignatowski extends and breaks McArthur's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ignatowski.
