Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Abner (ranked 447 p4p, 1339 weight class) and John Okafor (ranked 63 p4p, 162 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beau Abner! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Okafor! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abner closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Beau Abner has been cut. A jab from Abner does it's job there. Abner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Abner cracks Okafor with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Okafor looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Abner finish him?
Okafor is rocked! Abner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okafor misses with a straight left. Okafor is still on wobbly legs! Can Abner finish him? Okafor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Abner pushes Okafor up against the cage in a clinch. Abner lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Okafor seems to have recovered his senses. Abner fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Okafor wants to break the clinch but can't.
Abner working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A short right hand to the side of the head by Abner. Abner pushes Okafor back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Okafor is looking to break free of the clinch but Abner has double underhooks. Abner gets through Okafor's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Abner keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Okafor's efforts to push away. Abner makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Abner lands a shot to the body. A short uppercut from Abner. Abner lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Okafor or not. Okafor looks winded! Abner lands a left hand.
Abner lands a left hand that snaps the head of Okafor backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abner digs a right hand into Okafor's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Okafor's gas tank. A short right hand to the side of the head by Abner. Abner throws a big uppercut that drops Okafor! More strikes from Abner and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Okafor lies dazed against the cage as Abner celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Beau Abner! Beau Abner retains his heavyweight title! Beau Abner decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
