Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Grey Ape!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edwin Lucan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucan clinches with his opponent.
Lucan lands with a light punch inside.
Lucan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lucan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ape lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lucan backwards.
Ape can't find room to land a body shot as Lucan controls the action.
Ape lands a left hand.
Lucan misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lucan gets through Ape's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Lucan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lucan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lucan moves to clinch but Ape breaks away
and Ape counters with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from Lucan does no damage.
Lucan swings widly with a right hand
and Ape counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lucan's knee momentarily.
Lucan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lucan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ape blocks a jab.
Lucan tries to close the distance and clinch but Ape swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lucan loads up on a big right hand but Ape slips the punch.
Grey Ape is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lucan throws a body punch but Ape moves out of range.
Ape dodges the punch combination from Lucan.
Lucan tries a head kick but it misses.
Lucan misses with a wild combination.
Lucan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lucan tries to clinch up.
Ape throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ape displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lucan throws out the jab.
Ape getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ape tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lucan is able to avoid easily.
Ape sets himself, and Lucan steps forward looking for the clinch! Ape avoids it this time.

Lucan throws a head kick that misses
and Ape counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lucan's knee momentarily.
Lucan avoids the head kick by Ape.
Lucan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Lucan misses with a takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lucan looks winded!
Lucan misses with a looping right.
Ape throws a counter high kick but Lucan was just alert enough to avoid it.
Ape lands a big head kick that sends Lucan to the canvas! Ape follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

A less than humble Grey Ape misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
