Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryer McGuire (ranked 1040 p4p, 1280 weight class) and Arild Ringnes (ranked 112 p4p, 141 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringnes throws a shot from downtown. McGuire moves away and avoids it.
Ringnes loads up on a big right hand but McGuire slips the punch.
Good work by Ringnes as he checks the leg kick.

McGuire throws a lazy right hand but Ringnes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ringnes throws a shot from downtown. McGuire moves away and avoids it.

and McGuire holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
McGuire keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ringnes 's efforts to push away.
Ringnes is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ringnes wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ringnes tries to circle away but McGuire has him pinned against the cage.

Ringnes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters circle momentarily. McGuire darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A shot to the body from McGuire misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
McGuire throws an overhand right that lands on Ringnes 's shoulder, as Ringnes tries to avoid the shot.

McGuire's corner calls for a 1-2. McGuire obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Arild Ringnes has been cut.
Ringnes looks to land a right hand but McGuire moved out of range.
McGuire is looking to counter with a body kick.
Ringnes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McGuire.
Ringnes throws out a loose jab but McGuire uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGuire feinted there with a counter leg kick.
McGuire dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ringnes . That did some damage!
Ringnes misses with an uppercut. McGuire saw that one coming.
And McGuire counters with a quick kick to the body but Ringnes blocks it.

McGuire lands a big head kick that sends Ringnes tumbling to the mat! McGuire takes a step backwards and waves Ringnes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ringnes throws a hook but McGuire avoids it easily.
McGuire keeps Ringnes at a distance using the push kick.

McGuire cracks Ringnes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ringnes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McGuire finish him?

Ringnes is rocked!
Ringnes switches off momentarily and McGuire cracks him with a monster right hand! Ringnes topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as McGuire dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by McGuire!
