Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BIshop Bonesteel (ranked 2017 p4p, 4361 weight class) and Slash Shredder (ranked 253 p4p, 494 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slash Shredder!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonesteel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shredder was covering up waiting for the punch and Bonesteel finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bonesteel drops back looking for a leg! Shredder is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shredder manages to kick Bonesteel off! Bonesteel jumps back into Shredder's guard.
Bonesteel trying to control but Shredder is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonesteel wants to pass the guard but Shredder is keeping the position.
Bonesteel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bonesteel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shredder can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bonesteel controls the pace.
Bonesteel wants to control from the top but Shredder keeps moving.
Bonesteel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bonesteel stands and throws Shredder's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bonesteel in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Bonesteel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shredder is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shredder can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bonesteel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bonesteel in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Shredder is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
