Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Okafor (ranked 502 p4p, 1492 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 86 p4p, 220 weight class). Mike Okafor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Okafor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Shifter feints the counter takedown.
Shifter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okafor.
Shifter with the counter takedown but Okafor avoids it easily.
Okafor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shifter under the eye.
Okafor stuns Shifter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Okafor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A slow jab from Okafor misses its intended target.
Okafor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shifter at a distance.
Okafor swings widly with a right hand
and Shifter counters with a shoot takedown. Okafor fights it but they end up in guard.
Okafor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Okafor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shifter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Okafor is keeping the position for now.

Okafor is controlling Shifter's posture.
Shifter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shifter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shifter throws a big elbow that misses.

Shifter with a flurry of punches that miss.
Shifter stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Okafor throws up his legs and catches Shifter in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Shifter tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Okafor! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mike Okafor!
