Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Rambeau (ranked 593 p4p, 585 weight class) and Leonzar Kennedy (ranked 95 p4p, 93 weight class). Rambeau comes to the cage accompanied by BAD COMPANY. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kennedy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rambeau at a distance.
Rambeau looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rambeau throws a lazy body kick
and Kennedy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kennedy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kennedy throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kennedy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rambeau uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kennedy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kennedy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kennedy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kennedy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rambeau was well out of range. Poor timing from Kennedy.
Rambeau connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kennedy momentarily.

It looks like Leonzar Kennedy has been cut.
Rambeau finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Rambeau lands a big right hand that sends Kennedy crashing to the mat! Rambeau stays standing though and waves Kennedy back to his feet!

Leonzar Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It appears Rambeau was looking to counter with a kick there.
Rambeau has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kennedy finds it's way round the side to connect with Rambeau's head.

Kennedy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rambeau moves away.

Kennedy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rambeau.
Rambeau throws a jab but it's blocked by Kennedy.
Kennedy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rambeaus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kennedy looks to score with a jab to the body but Rambeau is just out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kennedy circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kennedy counters with a huge left! Rambeau is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kennedy isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Rambeau from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kennedy!
