Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Washington counters with an outside leg kick.

Gardner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Washington stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Washington counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Washington has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gardner finds it's way round the side to connect with Washington's head.
Gardner throws a body shot but no joy.
A countering left hand to the body from Washington misses.
Washington avoids a punch combination nicely.
Washington lands a big right hand that sends Gardner crashing to the mat! Washington stays standing though and waves Gardner back to his feet!
Gardner is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Washington flashes Gardner a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Gardner's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Gardner crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Washington punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

After the fight, Imperial Washington was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
