The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godwin getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
McGuire misses with a jab to the body
and Godwin counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Godwin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Godwin.
McGuire looks for the body kick but Godwin saw that one coming.
A big left from McGuire misses.
McGuire takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Godwin is looking to land body kicks.
McGuire cracks a nice hook into Godwin's ribs.
Sloppy strikes from Godwin. Those never looked like landing.
Godwin is looking to clinch but McGuire is avoiding it.
McGuire lands a big head kick that sends Godwin tumbling to the mat! McGuire takes a step backwards and waves Godwin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Godwin is rocked!
It looks like Basko Godwin has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGuire changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Godwin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Godwin is breathing heavily.
McGuire fakes the body blow, causing Godwin to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Godwin goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
