Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Niko Alzate (ranked 993 p4p, 677 weight class) and Darrel Hill (ranked 66 p4p, 40 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Niko Alzate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Darrel Hill!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alzate throws out the jab.
Hill bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alzate swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hill paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Alzate has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Alzate sizes up Hill with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hill jabs Alzate to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hill just misses with a punch to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hill lands a lovely overhand right.
Alzate connects with a jab.
It looks like Darrel Hill has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hill has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Alzate misses with a straight right.
Alzate looks to throw the jab but Hill is out of range.
Hill blocks a jab.
Hill looks to land a combination but Alzate avoids it well.
A little feinted left hand from Alzate on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hill cracks Alzate with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hill thows a left - swing and a miss!
Alzate was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Alzate throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hill's head.
Alzate slips a jab from Hill.
Alzate rushes Hill with punches - Hill moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hill goes down! Alzate follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Niko Alzate!
